Temporary residence permit in Kazakhstan

A temporary residence permit (RVP) is the right to live in Kazakhstan on a specific ground; it is renewable and usually serves as the standard first step toward a residence permit. We file it correctly, without refusals on formalities.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How does RVP differ from a residence permit?+
An RVP is a temporary, renewable status tied to a specific ground (work, family, business, investment). A residence permit is long-term (up to 10 years) and, once granted, is not tied to the ground. An RVP usually serves as the path to it.
Is RVP required before a residence permit?+
In most cases RVP is the standard route to a residence permit (usually after 5 years). Some categories (kandas, spouses of citizens) may go faster. We'll define the exact route by your grounds.
When to file after entry?+
EAEU nationals (Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia) — within 90 days of entry; the first 30 days may be without registration. Overstaying risks fines and an entry ban, so timely status matters.
